There are fans on either side of the playground and you can ride the burst of refreshing air to the top. Climb up the path way, avoiding spores being tossed and being mindful of the planks that will sometimes break under the weight of an octopus pretending to be a man. Grab the otter's arms to trigger the event and ride it out.įrom there head to the huge playground. You don't actually need to save any kelp, you just need to play the game. There is another tie in this section, along the with the chance to not only get one achievement, but two! So get them. Go down the next slide and save some kelp! There are instructions on the wall on how to complete it, but it's much easier to simply grab the spores, one green and one blue, and place them into the receptacles manually. After being shot into the air, let it go and complete the spore mini game. Grab links of the frond and bring them down until you grab the gas bladder at the top. Next you will see a large fan with a kelp frond floating above it. After they've reached the top, Tommy will open a panel and push a button that turns the wheel's power on, allowing it to spin of its own accord. Get inside and use your Octodad walking skills to make it spin and raise the two kelp cutouts that flank it. Or just grab the puck and fling it around with reckless abandon. Climb on to the game and move it around to slide the giant puck over the 9 sections, revealing them. The slider game is the first, and it's easy. Take the stairs, or slide down the slide (because it's more fun) and the next room has several tasks to complete. This game takes some practice, especially if you want to get the Around the World in Several Seconds achievement. Spin the globe and wait until the corresponding buttons spin by and hit the interact button. Remember, when an object glows green, it's interactable, and if it glows yellow, it's needed to move the story ahead. The first is a World of Kelp globe where you need to spin the globe and hit the correct colored buttons.
